On 15th January, 2012 - Co-hosted with other three clubs for the Kite Flying Celebration from 2.30-6.30 pm at Dahanukar College, Vile Parle (East). Mumbai
On 22nd January, Our club organized an Orthopedic Camp when 95 plus members of the Society took advantage of checking bone density, sugar contents, blood pressure, etc. Knowledge giving lecture was organized by our medical team with Dr. Kaushal Malhan , well known orthopedic surgeon attached to Fortis Hospital, Mulund.
On 23rd January our Club arranged a Career Guidance for the students of Hussain Allana English Medium School. Our Senior Rtn. Mohanlal Gupta took the leadership alongwith Rtn. Laxminarayan Baijal and Rtn. Arvind Shah participated in this event. Boys and girls appreciated by receiving knowledge under the different vocations.
On 23rd & 24th January, Rtn. Dr. Pratima Kodkani took the lead for blood checking of the economically and socially weaker section ladies who were pregnant and were explained about HIV/AIDS disease awareness and precautions .
On 25th & 26th January, long awaited Couple fellowship programme for 25 couples was organized at Hotel Heritage of Jadhavghat Fort, Pune. All 50 plus members enjoyed every moment of 36 hrs. very well planned by our Rotarians.
On 27th January – Under Dist. Thrust area, signed an MOU for two check dams at Maswan, Palghar Dist. Also the Solar Light execution is under progress.
28th January – Under Dist. Thrust Area organized a Seminar on “Water Unlimited ???” from 9.30 am – 1.30 pm with three Key note speakers - Ex. Cabinet Minister Mr. Suresh Prabhu, Prof. Dr. Walavalkar and Padmashri Dr. Mehta as well on theme Water harvesting by team from Asian Paints.
On Sunday, 15th January, 2012 : Under Education – Health Society Welfare Programme, a Lecture on Management of Co-op. Housing Society was held at Board Room of Rotary Service Centre by our own Rtn. Adv. Hiralal Suthar (Specialist in Co-op. Society Act ) More than 15 Rotarians and other Community members attended this lecture.
Granted Vocational Loan Scholarship to 40 students for Engineering & Vocational Courses totaling to Rs. 8,48,000/- [July-January, 2012]
